Heat is off Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever: Indiana Fever merchandise now available!

The Indiana Fever have finally gotten their first win of the season, and the heat is off of Caitlin Clark. The rookie sensation had 11 points and 10 rebounds in her first WNBA double-double, as the Fever beat the Los Angeles Sparks 78-73 on Friday night.

It was a much-needed win for the Fever, who had been 0-5 heading into the game. Clark was a big part of the victory, as she hit several key shots down the stretch. She also showed her versatility by getting involved in the rebounding game.

“I think it was just a matter of us staying composed and executing,” Clark said. “We knew we were capable of winning this game, and we just had to go out there and do it.”

The win was also a relief for Fever coach Marianne Stanley. She had been preaching patience with her young team, and she was finally rewarded with a victory.

“I’m really proud of our team,” Stanley said. “They’ve been working hard, and they deserve to win a game.”

The Fever will look to build on their momentum when they host the Minnesota Lynx on Sunday.
